goal = sustainable products that uplift communities and protect the planet.
Founded in late 2025, SAHA Soaps and Sundries began as a quest to make inclusive, clean, South-Asian products accessible for everyone.
For years, founder Lisa Pirovano had used travels abroad as opportunities acquire skin and haircare products that 'felt right' for her curly-haired, multi-heritage roots. When she ran out, she made do with what was available at home - but those products never hit the same.
She started experimenting with her own solutions, bringing back lessons learned from her maternal Indian roots in Mangalore, blending chemistry knowledge from her environmental engineering degree, and laying the foundation for her own South Asian skincare brand.
In late 2021, Lisa lost her sister to breast cancer. A champion for chemical-free, vegan, organic, and sustainable products, her sister had fought tirelessly to make products that uplifted communities and protected the planet an industry standard. SAHA Soaps and Sundries was built on that vision.
We want our community to feel radiantly beautiful in their skin, helping them embrace their authentic selves — starting with clean products that help them shine.
founder, soap-maker, mom.
With Midwestern American and Konkan Manglorean roots, Lisa Pirovano pours her love of travel and heritage into every bar and product. Originally from Chicago, Lisa now lives in Falls Church, Virginia, with her partner, Harsha, their baby, Indra, and their goofy dog, Mango. She believes that diversity, kindness, and a commitment to the planet should be the foundations for every company.
our brand pillars
sustainability.
SAHA products use organic, sustainability-certified ingredients whenever possible. We skip out on harmful chemicals, make thoughtful packaging decisions, and do our best to make ethical choices that protect our health and our planet.
diversity.
The word ‘Saha’ is Sanskrit for ‘together’. Diversity makes our communities stronger and deserves to be celebrated. Our products are crafted for every kind of love, for all skin, and all stories. We are committed to meaningful representation and the affirmation of all bodies. We believe in inclusion as a part of our ethos (not an add on).
mindfulness.
The way we choose to move through the world matters. Being mindful lets us show up and be present for our communities, make the largest impact on those around us, and make sure we’re living our ethics to the best of our ability each and every day. We strive to be mindful of the planet, of our role in uplifting others, and the responsibility we have to shape our corner of the world.
